CHRISTMAS´ CELEBRATION

On Saturday 7th December, we held a Christmas Celebration for Zoom.

We reflected and shared activities centred on Advent as a Time of Change/Conversion; a Time of Hope and a Time of Man's Encounter with God.

The celebration began with a few words of explanation from the World Chaplain and continued with the recitation of the Prayer to Our Lady of Advent. Then the World Chaplain, Father Lucio Sambrano reflected on the meaning of Advent.

We continued with 3 reflections and activities centred on the themes of the meeting. The first was a personal activity in which participants were asked to reflect on how we prepare our hearts to receive Jesus. The participants shared their reflections by creating a word cloud on the mentimeter platform. In the second activity, participants gathered in language groups and talked about: What do I hope this Christmas will bring me, what do I have to do to receive the gifts I ask for? Then, back in the main hall, there was a sharing session where each group shared what they had reflected on and talked about.

The third and last activity revolved around the encounter of Man with God through prayer and each Regional Responsible made a special prayer.

Then a video on the Birth of Jesus was shown and Christmas songs were shared. To conclude, Father Lucio said a prayer and the final blessing.
