Who we are
The International Catholic Conference of Guiding (ICCG) is a network of national Girl Guide/Girl Scout Associations belonging to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) whose members include Catholic girls, young women and adult women.
The pedagogy of ICCG is the same of world guiding; however, it is lived in the light of the Gospel.
The CICG works in the search for and the construction of ways to help catholic leaders to live and express their faith in the educational mission of the Guiding. Thus, questions such as the inculturation of the faith, liberation through education, the place of women in the world and in the Church, the world of girls and adolescents in times of exclusion, have allowed its members to deepen their feminine identity, They are aware of the new challenges of the times, of the demands in the field of education, of the need to deepen the lay ecclesial vocation within Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting and in the realities emerging in the world of girls and young women.
The most importante activities are the meetings, globally and regionally, with an emphasis on education, the defense of life and human dignity, the citizenship, the solidarity, the interreligious dialogue, the rights of children, youth and women, the family, the building of a culture of peace and reconciliation.

An opportunity to live de faith.
The ICCG works to find and build ways to help Catholic leaders live and express their faith in the educational mission of the Guiding.
ICCG recognises Guiding as a gift to live the Gospel of Jesus and build a reality based on the values of the Kingdom. As Catholics in Guides movement they value of creating memory, living this day and walking towards the future discovering God who walked and walks beside us.
A meeting place
With God, with ourselves; with the others, with the nature.
A meeting that reveals our own history, that binds new solidarities, new friendships, new faces, new projects and provide news way of looking the things; that brings news glances to the world, that gives birth to a new Guide/ Girl Scout life. It opens a place of celebration to meet Jesus Christ who traces paths of hope on which we set our steps.
A place for dialogue
Where we can share who we are, what we think, what we believe, what identifies us, where we live diversity as a great richness with which we can build a society of peace, hope, solidarity and justice; a place for intergenerational dialogue where history and novelty intermingle to deepen the spiritual values of Guiding.
